Meet Your Trainer/Teacher: Kendall Baab, MSc, CSCS
Kendall is a personal trainer for dancers and dance science educator located in Los Angeles, CA. She grew up as a competitive studio dancer and Texas high school drill team member. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Science from California State University Long Beach where she trained in ballet and modern dance, and a Master of Science degree in Dance Science from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, UK where she completed dance science research involving perfectionism and self-efficacy in online dance classes and trained in contemporary dance.
Kendall is a NSCA strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), which allows her to work with athletes of all kind to enhance performance. She is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and a BASI Certified Pilates Instructor with a dance specialization, and a certified health coach. Kendall works with dancers all over the United States on strength, conditioning, and flexibility to enhance performance and prevent injury.

Amelia Millward, MFA
Amelia is a researcher and dance educator based in Salt Lake City. She received a BA in Dance with a concentration in Body Science and a minor in Neuroscience from Marymount Manhattan in New York City, and an MFA in Dance Science from Trinity Laban Conservatory in London.
Amelia’s passion and mission as an educator and for her research is to cultivate safe and inclusive spaces where dancers can develop their own passion for movement.
Amelia will be speaking about considerations for breast biomechanics in dance training.

Auti Kamal Scolman, MACP
Auti is a dance educator and mental health therapist dedicated to helping young artists navigate the intersection of high-level performance and mindset.
She holds a BA in Dance and an MA in Psychology, and is passionate about empowering dancers to care for their whole selves while pursuing their goals.
Auti will be speaking about the mental effects of burnout and injuries for dancers.

- Will the intensive be recorded?Yes, each day will be recorded, and as an attendee, you will get access to the recordings for 30 days.
- Do I need special equipment to join this intensive at home?We recommend having at least a long resistance band and a yoga block. If you have light/medium dumbbells, that would be a great addition.
- What if I can't attend live on Zoom?That is totally okay! Come one, come all, come none - the recordings will be ready for you to watch shortly after the sessions.
